Snow Day

March 02, 2016 by matt thomas

It has been a relatively tame winter, and it pales in contrast to the winters we've had in the past. But, every time it snows I have to get out and take some photos. With the help of my weatherproof Nikon D4 and Nikkor lenses, I was able to brave the wind, snow and frigid temperatures last week. Being from the Northeast, I love my snow. To me its a little bit of a disappointment of how insipid its really been. I think I cursed myself though when I decided to bring back my snowboard after visiting home for Christmas.

Here in Indiana the snow has been fleeting. It snows for a day and then a few days later, its gone. And somehow I'll be able to sit out on my porch in a pair of shorts and enjoy the sun. That's just what I've become used to at this point.
