Engagement at Sunset Cliffs

January 16, 2023 by matt thomas

Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach is one of the most iconic views in all of San Diego. Its vantage point back to the beach, and the pier could easily be on the list of the most photographed areas. So when Oscar approached me to photograph his proposal, I knew I had to make it something unique and special. My favorite photo is just the view from the moment he got down on one knee with the great expanse of the ocean behind the couple.

Winter Wedding

January 02, 2015 by Matthew Thomas in Freelance

A colleague of mine from when I worked at The Exponent, approached me this summer to photograph his wedding in December. It would be the first wedding that I would have been hired to cover, but we were both confident that I would be up to the task. I had a wonderful time photographing the lovely couple, and without doubt it will be something that I will continue to do in the future.
