End of the Year
2016 is coming to an end, and though I didn't work as much as I did in 2015, I throughly enjoyed every experience I had this year. Between working the Kentucky Derby and a trip to Mexico with Bill Frakes, and covering the World Series along with Andy Hancock for ESPN, those events were enough to make my year. Getting back on the paintball field to cover the World Cup, meeting a collection of Vietnam Veterans in Kokomo, shooting Purdue sports and a nonconventional sports as well are all images that I've decided to feature here. The one photo that I thought to include though was of my grandfather and grandmother. Not many people know that I lost my grandmother in May of this year, and that photo was taken the last time I saw here back in March. Might not be the most technically sound, or fit the rest of the gallery, but it's my most memorable photo that I took. It still continues to resonate with me. 2017 will be a new year, and I'm looking forward to it. A lot in store, new projects and new adventures. I can't wait.
