Here is a montage of the top photos, timelapses, and parallax images from the Boston Red sox photography staff over the tenth home stand of the 2018 season.
Rick Porcello throws complete game, 1-hitter
It only took 86 pitches from Rick Porcello to secure the victory over the Yankees Friday night. The offensive support came by a 2-run home run by Steve Pearce and RBI singles by Eduardo Nunez and Mitch Moreland. Also, Mookie Betts played second base.
Mookie's First Walk-Off Home Run
Wild night at Fenway Park last night, with a dominant start by Chris Sale and home runs from Jackie Bradley Jr., Rafael Devers and the walk-off by Mookie Betts.
Red Sox Return
After a long road trip, the Red Sox returned to Fenway Park last night to face the Texas Rangers. The match up featured Steve Pearce's first home run at Fenway and the campaign to get Andrew Benintendi to the All-Star Game as the Final Vote Candidate. The Sox shut out the Rangers, win 5-0.
Homestand Recap
Another homestand has wrapped up, the Red Sox are currently sitting 2 games up in the AL East as they travel to Houston. Here's a look back on the games from last weekend and this week, including the Memorial Day themed uniforms.
Red Sox Alumni Game
Dozens of former Red Sox players returned to Fenway Park Sunday morning to play in a 3-inning long Alumni Game before the Red Sox faced the Braves that afternoon. The game was headlined by players like Pedro Martinez, Wade Boggs and Derek Lowe.
Homestand Recap
The Red Sox hosted the Oakland Athletics and the Baltimore Orioles for a 7 game home stand over the past week. Here are some of my favorite photos from the games.
Mookie hits 3 home runs as Red Sox beat Royals
With 3 solo home runs Mookie Betts joined elite company in the record books on Wednesday. Now with 4, Betts breaks the tie with Ted Williams for most games with 3 home runs by a member of the Red Sox, and he has more three-homer games than Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth combined. Along with Betts, J.D. Martinez also hit a home run while Craig Kimbrel finished off the game with a save.
ARMY - NAVY Game @ Fenway Park
Friday night, Fenway Park hosted the baseball version of the annual Army - Navy Game. Cadets from both academies showed up in droves to support their respective teams, as well as thousands of fans. Navy bested Army by a score of 4-0, including a 2 run home run.
BNP Parabis Men's Singles Final
After 2 weeks of nothing but tennis, my trip to Indian Wells concluded at Sunday afternoon's Men's Single Final which pitted Roger Federer against Juan Martin Del Potro. After never shooting any tennis before, I will say it was definitely a learning experience. You have to anticipate where the players are going to end up, keep your background clear of line judges & ball boys and frame that ball on racket action. Fortunately I was working with a great team of photographers( Jared Wickerham, Michael Cummo & Kathryn Riley) that helped me along the way. Here's my favorites from that Finals match, and look forward to a few more posts of my favorites photos from the Tournament.

Last Friday, I drove up to Northern New Hampshire for a weekend of skiing and hiking. That afternoon, I had decided that I was going to make my way up to Mt. Jackson and loop back to Mt. Webster. I got a little later of a start than expected, and realized that I wouldn't be getting off the mountain until after dark. I decided to make the most of the situation and stayed at the top of Webster to witness a great sunset.
Hockey East Weekend Action
No. 13 UNH Wildcats upset No. 9 Providence College Saturday night in Durham at the Whittemore Center.
NXL World Cup Finals
15 years ago, I just happened to catch the PSP World Cup on television and I was immediately hooked. I watched the match between Dynasty and Aftershock on the yellow JT field with the giant pyramid in the middle, and instantly Dynasty became my favorite team. They were having unprecedented success, winning the PSP, NPPL and Millennium Series.
Flash forward to last weekend when I traveled to Florida for the second year in a row to cover this year's NXL World Cup. Dynasty was in the Finals, but this time I was on the field. Some of the names you saw that Sunday night, were the same names back 15 years ago. Alex Fraige, Ryan Greenspan were two veterans on that team,, and now a new crew is solidifying their own legacy in the game. Dynasty didn't win this year's Cup. They went down 3-0, but just when you were about to count them out they started to come back. They closed the gap, but when the match was over Impact finished on top, 4-3.
Best of the ALDS
We're a few days removed from the end of the Red Sox season now, and looking back I wanted to share a gallery of my favorite photos from the two ALDS games at Fenway. Obviously we were all hoping for the Sox to make it to the World Series, but I have to say that it was an amazing season no matter what the outcome was going to be. In the rain and the cold, we made it through two games against a very good opponent in the Houston Astros.
It was a great opportunity to work alongside the Red Sox staffers, Mike Ivins and Billie Weiss, and not to mention my fellow intern Kathryn Riley. Soon I'll have another post of my favorite photos from the entire season, buts it's going be tough to sort through 1.5 TB of photos. Bittersweet ending to a long baseball season, but looking forward to what the next step is.
Cape Cod Baseball League Championship Game
After a rainy night in Bourne on Saturday, and a pretty lopsided score, I headed to Brewster Sunday morning for the final game of the 3 game series. Brewster got off to an early lead and never looked back. Had a great time down on the Cape all weekend, and looking forward to watching more baseball at Fenway this week with the Red Sox back in town.
Cape League Semi Finals
I headed down to Orleans last night for my first Cape Cod Baseball League game of the summer. The Brewster Whitecaps traveled to face the Orleans Firebirds, in front of a crowd of over 3,000 fans. It was the final game of the series to determine who moved on to the Finals to face the Bourne Braves this weekend in the League Finals. Low scoring game, finishing 2-1 in favor of the Whitecaps. The Cape League features some of the best college players in the country, and has featured numerous players who have gone on the play in the Major Leagues. Its quintessential summer baseball.
